Bar Harbor has a wide variety of lodging options, including charming inns, hotels, Airbnbs, and vacation rentals! Our wedding venue is The Bar Harbor Club, which is partnered with both the Harborside Hotel and West Street Hotel. Guests staying at either property will have access to the clubs amenities during their stay. All guests are welcome at the BHC for all wedding festivities, regardless of where you're staying so please feel free to book accommodations that best suit your style and budget! For more hotels and motels in the area- check out https://www.staybarharbor.com/ We do recommend sticking within walking distance of the venue or scheduling late night transportation ahead of time as ride shares are hard to come by in this area. Located next to the Bar Harbor Club, the Harborside Hotel offers elegant waterfront accommodations, upscale amenities, and stunning views of Frenchman Bay. Guests can enjoy access to the pool, spa, marina, and dining—all just steps from our wedding venue and downtown Bar Harbor. Guests have access to all of Bar Harbor Club's amenities as well. While we do not have a reserved room block, the venue offers a discount code that our guests can use when booking their stay. Harborside Hotel, Spa & Marina

Located directly across from the harbor and just a short walk to the Bar Harbor Club, the West Street Hotel features modern coastal decor and boutique touches. Guests have access to a rooftop pool, luxury services, and all the amenities at the Bar Harbor Club next door. There is no promotional code available for this hotel. However, interested guests are encouraged to book directly with the West Street Hotel for the best available rate.

West Street Hotel

Located near downtown Bar Harbor and steps away from the Bar Harbor Club, The Pathmaker Hotel offers a stylish, modern stay with thoughtfully designed rooms and welcoming shared spaces. Guests appreciate its clean, contemporary feel paired with convenient access to local restaurants, shops, and Acadia National Park. It’s a great option for wedding guests looking for comfort, walkability, and a relaxed boutique atmosphere. We do not have a room block with the Pathmaker but to secure the best rate call Jill at Stay Bar Harbor at 207-801-8480 and reference the King wedding. She will offer you the best rate + provide a small discount if available.

The Pathmaker Hotel

Having undergone an exciting update both inside and out in 2022, the Little Fig Hotel features all new rooms and suites.&nbsp;On the corner of Cottage Street and Holland Avenue in downtown Bar Harbor, you will enjoy walking mere blocks to the waterfront, the free Island Explorer shuttle, as well as dozens of shops, restaurants, and activities.--The small room block here has closed, but call Jill at Stay Bar Harbor (207-801-8480) for the best available rate.

Little Fig Hotel

The Atlantic Oceanside Hotel is about a mile from downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, with beautiful views of Frenchman Bay. With indoor and outdoor pools, waterfront access, and lots of space to relax, it’s a perfect spot to enjoy the Maine coast. They also have availability at The Willows, a historic property next door with additional rooms and plenty of charm. While this hotel is nearby our venue, its not within walking distance so we recommend coordinating rides or taxis ahead of the wedding festivities, especially in the evening! There's also the the complimentary&nbsp;<a href="https://www.exploreacadia.com/route2.html" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Island Explorer shuttle (Eden Street Line)</a>&nbsp;can drop you off at Village Green (.5 miles from BHC) throughout the weekend depending on the schedule.

Atlantic Oceanside Hotel & Event Center  

Just a short walk from the Bar Harbor Club, Bar Harbor Manor is a charming, boutique-style hotel featuring beautifully updated rooms, private balconies, and quiet garden surroundings. Guests love its convenient in-town location—close to shops, restaurants, and the waterfront—while still feeling relaxed and peaceful. It’s an ideal place to stay for the wedding weekend, offering comfort, New England charm, and easy access to all Bar Harbor has to offer.

Hancock County–Bar Harbor Airport (BHB) – Just 15 minutes from downtown Bar Harbor. Limited flights, typically through Boston (BOS). Portland International Jetport (PWM) – ~3.5 hours from Bar Harbor. Larger airport with more carriers and direct flights. Wedding Registry

When do I need to RSVP? Please kindly submit your RSVP by June 1, 2026. We appreciate your timely response as we finalize details! What is the attire for ceremony &amp; reception? Our wedding attire is formal. We recommend suits for men and floor length or elevated midi dresses for women. Given the coastal Maine setting in late June, summer fabrics and colors are welcome. Tuxedos not required! The ceremony is taking place on the lawn, so we recommend women wear block heels. Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors? Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors, with the reception taking place indoors. Guests will also have access to an outdoor space throughout the evening to relax and enjoy the coastal setting. Can I bring a plus one? Due to venue capacity, we’re only able to accommodate guests formally listed on your invitation. If your invitation includes a plus one, it will be noted on your RSVP. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you! Where should I stay?
